Google is most likely to launch the Pixel 4 range in September this year while the Pixel 3a lineup could come out around May 2019. These are rumored to be the internal code names of the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, respectively, and the listings appear to confirm the specifications of both phones.
In a related development, reports are coming in that Google is already testing the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL in India, reported popular Twitter spy Roland Quandt, citing reliable sources. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on the phone, while the device will include 4GB of RAM.
In related news, forthcoming Google phones with model numbers G020B and G020F that have been approved by Singapore's IMDA authority have also confirmed that they will be releasing in the market as the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. As per the information shared, the company will bundle the Pixel Buds and Pixel 3a case along with the smartphone. It is expected these phones could be revealed at the Google I/O conference in May. The names of the upcoming phones were confirmed via Android Q listing under codenames Sargo and Bonito. In the latest news, both variants were spotted on the device catalog of Google Play Developer Console.
Both come with fast processors, incredible camera systems and a quality finish. Google launches its Pixel series around October, so Pixel 3a's May launch seems realistic.
Were Google to put the same awesome camera in the Pixel 3a but drive the price down by using a lesser screen, more plastic, and cheaper, less powerful internals it'd be great for customers who want a great camera in their pocket but can't afford the normal Pixel. For those unaware, these Pixel phones are mid-range offerings by Google. Now, the search engine giant has accidentally listed the aforementioned device on its product store.
