Jones, 67, began his pro career with the Nuggets in the ABA before playing for Denver and then the Philadelphia 76ers in the National Basketball Association. He was the 1982-1983 NBA's Sixth Man of the Year Award victor while posting 9.0 points per game and 4.6 rebounds. He was a member of Philadelphia's championship team in 1983.
