Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has challenged Anthony Martial to fulfill his potential at Manchester United by following Cristiano Ronaldo's example. "When coupled with his exceptional talent, that makes for a player with an exciting future ahead of him".
Solskjaer has won six of his opening seven Premier League games in charge, only dropping points in their 2-2 draw with Burnley at Old Trafford mid-week.
Alexis Sanchez starts in place of Anthony Martial for Manchester United at Leicester City, with the France forward only on the bench. 'Good players make each other better, don't they, and I can only explain goals like this with quality, ' said Solksjaer.
'I believe, and the club believes, we have a top player.
"He did what Manchester United managers should do - he took risks to win and he went for it".
"When he gets chances he's a fantastic finisher, so he needs to get more chances", said Solskjaer.
The likes of Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial have finally his a run of form, showing why United invested so much money in them, having struggled to conform to Mourinho's methods. We have to find a solution, and from the bench a player can bring their quality.
United also lacked energy so Ander Herrera should be recalled, while Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba have been guaranteed selections of late, although Fred will be pushing hard for a start.
"We know we've got plenty of things to work on and I think we'll see that progression in the next few weeks because it's going to be a tough and enjoyable February". I've told him that you've got to read and sniff maybe [get] some scruffy goals at times.
"I think we can go into the game on Sunday and away at Tottenham [next Sunday] with a lot of confidence".
Martial was absent in midweek but Solskjaer said of the Frenchman, "he got a slight injury in training but hopefully he'll be back for [the Leicester game]".
