It had been rumoured for weeks, but it was confirmed at the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event that Ronda Rousey would play Sonya Blade in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11. "Specific platforms for this supposed demo weren't revealed in the leak, but one has to imagine that it would be for most of the systems Mortal Kombat 11 is in development for, if not all of them".

Another said: "There's a lot of characters I want to see in Mortal Kombat 11, but I really hope that Cassie Cage, Jacqui Briggs, Takeda and Kung Jin all make it back".

'Now I get to voice her in Mortal Kombat 11. "We have an wonderful community, and it's an honor to share this celebration of the Mortal Kombat franchise with all of our passionate fans around the world". Sonya will be voiced by former UFC champion and mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey.

There were 25 character slots shown in the livestream, and we had our first look at new time-manipulating character Geras. Well, the first glimpse at the roster revealed seven returning characters - Raiden, Scorpion, Skarlet, Baraka, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, and Shao Khan. Those of you who pre-order it will also gain access to the Mortal Kombat 11 beta, which kicks off on March 28 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as Shao Kahn as a playable fighter. A Mortal Kombat 11 Kollector's Edition was also unveiled, which will include the game, a Kombat Pack, Scorpion mask bust, exclusive steelbook, commemorative magnet coin, and authenticity plate.

Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to launch for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 23.

All of which is a long-winded way of saying, guest characters in Mortal Kombat haven't been around as long as you may imagine, and there probably haven't been as many as you think.
