BBC journalist and ardent supporter of the North London club Arsenal David Ornstein has given the latest development on what the winter transfer window holds for Arsenal and contract rebel, Aaron Ramsey.
Goal reported last month that Bayern Munich are already close to reaching an agreement with him, while Inter, Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to be interested in snapping him up for free in the summer.
Ramsey will leave Arsenal at the end of the season, halting an 11-year stay at Emirates Stadium, with the Wales international's deal expiring in June 2019.
Pirlo added: "Ramsey is a great purchase".
"Juventus are preparing to pull off another excellent deal".
Sky Sports report that PSG are among the clubs interested in the 27-year-old.
Several major European clubs will fight it out for Aaron Ramsey's signature when the Wales global is free to speak with sides other than Arsenal next month.
How Arsenal fans will feel about allowing Ramsey to leave for an older midfielder will soon become clear, but it's yet another sign of Emery sculpting Arsenal's squad to match his philosophy.
Ramsey has featured in 22 matches for Arsenal this season, 12 of those being starts.
"I think also that Aaron Ramsey deserved to play, he deserved to take responsibility also because he wants to help us".
"His focus is positive for us, it helps us".
Ramsey came on as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 draw against Brighton on Boxing Day.
