KXIP vs KKR Live Score

The cryptic first trailer is here for Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, "a Black Mirror event" out tomorrow, December 28, on Netflix.

The film stars Fionn Whitehead ("Dunkirk") as the lead character and is reportedly a choose-your-own-adventure style movie. Some older smart TVs with Netflix apps won't be updated for the film due to the pre-viewing requirements.

It's still not clear whether Bandersnatch is part of season 5 of the show, or if it's a one-off and we'll have to wait until 2020 to see the next series in full. Less than a month after accidentally tweeting then deleting an announcement for "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch", Netflix has dropped the trailer for the standalone "Black Mirror" movie.

"There's a lot of dimension to it", Cyrus said.

Netflix reveal new details about Black Mirror's choose your own adventure episode

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, the first Black Mirror project to be labeled a film, will premiere on Netlix on Friday, Dec. 28.

There's been a fair bit of speculation surrounding Bandersnatch which already has a landing page on Netflix billing it as a Netflix film and with a tagline that reads "Be Right Back". David Slade ("Hannibal") directed the special episode. We don't know very much about it at this point, but that's okay because it'll be releasing tomorrow. Here, it tells the story of a computer programmer in 1984 who begins a descent into madness as he works on adapting his favourite fantasy novel into a video game. A trailer has now been released.

Bandersnatch was a fictional creature introduced by CS Lewis in his 1872 novel Through the Looking-Glass, a follow-up to his Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865).

Depending on your choices, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch can be finished in as little as 40 minutes, though the average viewing takes about 90.
