WASHINGTON-Kanye West's visit to the White House was pitched as a part of President Trump's commitment to urban revitalization, criminal-justice reform and new workforce-training programs.
It was, in the president's words, "Quite something". "He might not have thought he'd have a insane motherfucker like Kanye West's support and best believe, we are going to make America great".
"I have no animosity for Kanye West", Lemon said on CNN.
"We have to release the love" in the country, he said.
West said the president was fearless for trying to tackle criminal justice issues.
Asked if West could be a future presidential candidate, Trump said, "Could very well be".
Trump added that West could "speak for me any time he wants".
"You stopped the war", he told Mr Trump.
"Illegal guns is the problem, not legal guns", he said.
"It may not be good for America, but it's damn good for CBS.Man, who would have expected the ride we're all having right now?".
Does rap megastar Kanye West support Donald Trump?
"We can empower the pharmaceuticals", he said.

Talking loudly and rapidly on everything from Trump's protectionist trade polices to replacing Air Force One with a hydrogen plane, black gun crime, being married to Kim Kardashian and "infinite amounts of universe", West left the normally loquacious president almost speechless.
During one pause in West's comments, Mr Trump said: "I tell you what that was pretty impressive".
"It was from the soul, I just channeled it", West said. "No more nothing", Trump said.
He said "they" tried to "scare" him from wearing the hat on SNL. West has in recent days drawn a large amount of criticism for his decision to corner the cast members of "Saturday Night Live" and deliver a pro-Trump speech off camera. During the course of the conversation, 'Ye claimed that racism was just a tool liberals use to control Black people. "Oh, that don't stop me".
The rapper also spoke against stop-and-frisk policing policies, which Trump recently expressed support for. A "smart cookie". Which is pretty underwhelming considering you've just branded yourself a insane motherfucker.
"Only after 2024", West said.
He repeatedly mentioned the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which outlawed slavery. "Can we get rid of Air Force One?"

Kanye, as reporters began to lob questions at him after his tirade, warned them that he doesn't answer questions in sound bites. "He's a beacon for us that needs to see his family, that needs to go out and represent".
Trump raised her case again Thursday as an example of why the prison system needs urgent change.
National Football League legend Jim Brown also attended the meeting.
"This was set up as a lunch", he offered.
Host Chris Wallace later chimed in: "This same guy, Kanye, said George W. Bush didn't care about black people during [Hurricane] Katrina".
"Nice of you to say that because that's a big thing", Trump responded. "That's from the heart".
