KXIP vs KKR Live Score

Microsoft has released the Xbox One October update with additions to the system, including new Xbox Avatars and Xbox Skill features for interacting with Alexa and Cortana. You can customize the body type, hair, clothes, eyes, mouth, and nose and create a more detailed avatar. The Avatars will appear across Xbox One as well as activity feeds, Friend blocks on the Home screen, leaderboards, profiles, and other locations, as they will become a big part of the Xbox ecosystem going forward.

Clothing and accessories for a player's Avatar can be purchased on the Avatar Store and will be updated monthly with licensed designs from Halo, Gears of War and more. Also, the new Photo Booth mode will allow users to place their avatars in various poses and backgrounds to come up with pics that can be useful as profile pictures.

The Xbox October Update also includes Alexa integration.

As we've noted before, the new Xbox Avatars are far more customizable and expressive than the 360 versions. All you have to do is install the Xbox Skill from the Alexa Skill Store and start shouting commands, controlling your console hands-free. Whatever the case, many Xbox One bundles already come with free games, like the National Basketball Association 2K19 bundle pictured above, so you're getting multiple freebies as part of this deal. To set up Alexa, say, "Alexa, open Xbox". It should download automatically the next time you start up your system.

Once your new toys arrive in the mail, you'll be able to use your voice to do things such as turn on or off your console, open a specific game or app, take screenshots, adjust its volume, and more. To learn more about this new feature, see our previous post.

Those interested in streaming video get a new boost too, with Dolby Vision HDR support added for Xbox One S and X users. Today we are excited to launch our latest entertainment option, Dolby Vision™ HDR video streaming support across Xbox One S and Xbox One X! Right now, you can test out Dolby Vision in video apps like Netflix (if you have the right 4K HD plan).

The deal is available starting on October 12 and will include the latest version of the Echo Dot (3rd Generation), either a 1TB Xbox One S or a 1TB Xbox One X and a copy of National Basketball Association 2K19.

And lastly, Narrator is getting upgraded with support for five new languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Swedish, and Dutch. Tell us how this will help all you Xbox One users and if it is a welcome change or not.
