Sony has taken the wraps off a special new PlayStation 4 Pro bundle that will be available starting early next month. The bundle is available for pre-order now on Amazon. The company also unveiled a brand-new Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle.
On PS4 Pro, 4K TV owners can experience Marvel's Spider-Man in 2160p dynamic 4K resolution achieved through temporal injection that showcases intricate details of the architecture of Marvel's NY and detailed Marvel characters.
The console showcases the new Spider-Man logo in white across the entire top of the PS4 Pro. These three are in addition to the existing trio shown in the first trailer: Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore), Peter Parker (voiced by Jake Johnson), and Spider-Gwen aka Gwen Stacy (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld). Combat is superb, with web attacks finally adding variety to a Spider-Man game, and the swinging from one mission to another is a joy. Marvel's Spider-Man releases worldwide on 7 September.
There are a lot of Spider-Men (and women) in the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which deals with the collision of multiple realities. Spider-Man 2, despite weird balloon-catching side missions, was the first time I got to truly swing around New York City as the web-crawler, and I loved it. Miles, who also goes by the codename of Spider-Man in the comics, doesn't do much in the trailer except make a few jokes. This glow-in-the-dark suit is an original design made specifically for the game, and it's the only suit in the pack without any connections to the movies or comics.
