The defending champions trailed by as many as 15 in the first half after falling behind 17 in Game 6. Backed by the classic theme song "As Days Go By" by Jesse Frederick, everybody from LeBron James and Stephen Curry to Jr Smith and even Adam Silver are featured. "It usually happens at some point during the game". But I'm glad that we're going back (to the Finals) and I'm excited that we've got this opportunity.
"That's just not an easy injury to predict in terms of recovery", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said.
This wasn't all peaches for Golden State, either.
"All those hurdles and obstacles, we got over them, so it's an unbelievable feeling". "Obviously stressful, but fun". The Warriors like to play more players in their rotation, and for good reason.

"It's been great to come out of the locker room kind of focused, locked in, made some shots, get some stops and just have fun". Obviously, he's a big part of why we're here, but we had opportunities, especially in that first half both games.
Houston missed 27 straight 3s at one point during the game. Maybe Paul's presence means more in the Game 6 and 7 losses than Iguodala's would have meant in Games 4 and 5, but we will never find out.
The Rockets were understandably emotional after losing just one game shy of the NBA Finals, with Trevor Ariza, Clint Capela and P.J. Tucker in tears. Third quarter barrages by the Warriors in both Games 6 and 7 did the Rockets in. As a result, the Warriors managed to climb out of a 3-2 series hole. In the early numbers that's up 7% over last year's Game 1 between the winning Pittsburgh Penguins and the Nashville Predators. The only blemish comes in a Game 3 win by a Cleveland team relieved to be back on its home court. The win secures a Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers matchup in the NBA Finals for a fourth consecutive season.
James might be playing the best basketball of his life. It was the first game of the series where the team that lost the turnover battle won the game (27 missed threes will do that to you), as the Warriors were pushed out of their game by a tenacious Rockets D. That's what you want.
